Hudiksvall– Snowshoe walk
With snowshoes we can walk more easily through the deep snow. And what is better than to share this experience with human’s best friend.
Snowshoe walking is an excellent way of experiencing the winter landscape in Hudiksvall. Variations in the terrain, from birch tree forest to wide open heaths.
Snowshoeing equipment is easy to use and as soon as we have put our snowshoes on we are off. With snowshoes under your feet you move easily over pristine snow. We tread lightly across snowcovered ground towards an opening in the birchwood forest. We pause for a while to take in the view. Continuing onwards we may change direction to follow the tracks of wild animals in the national park. After we have enjoyed snowshoeing we make our way back to the station and take a pause with hot tea (a classic Swedish “fika”) .
